ROBE - DRESS

Ceci est une robe portée dans les années 1860. J'ai créé le patron et la robe est faite en plusieurs parties dans la technique de dentelle moderne. Elle a également un corsage qui est posé dessus. Le tout est agrémenté d'une dentelle Chantilly.

This dress was worn in the 1860's . I made the template and the dress is made in several parts in the modern lace technique. A jacket is posed on top. You can see a Chantilly lace all over it.

NEEDLE LACE2- DENTELLE A L'AIGUILLE2

Ici j'ai réalisé un motif en employant une majorité de points de feston, une fois travaillé très serrés, puis en les espacant. Notez également la variété de fils.

Here you can see a done motif. I did this using mostly buttonhole stitches. Once they are worked very densely and sometimes I leave more space between them. It's also important to use a lot of different threads.

NEEDLE LACE - DENTELLE A L'AIGUILLE

Voici comment commencer une dentelle à l'aiguille. Vous prenez un tissu double, votre patron recouvert d'un film plastique et vous suivez le contour en appliquant un fil plié en double que vous fixez avec de petits points.

This is how to begin needlelace. You take a double folded fabric. Then your model on paper covered with plastic film. You take a double thread and follow the outline of your model couching your thread with small stitches.
